Topic Innovative Connected Hydration Technology to Mitigate Heat-Related Incidents in Central California’s Summer

The Heat Management Program with the help of technology is designed to tackle the challenges of high heat temperatures in the workplace, especially during the scorching summer months in Bakersfield. Our mission is to significantly reduce incident trends during summertime activities in the San Joaquin Valley. By implementing a comprehensive heat management campaign and cutting-edge technological safeguards, we aim to mitigate the effects of dehydration on worker cognitive response and drive meaningful behavior change. The program continuously evaluates the effectiveness of current safeguards and generates real-time heat illness alerts based on weather conditions.
