Site Safety Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, help implement, and coordinate safety programs, requiring the application of current safety programs and technology, to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions for Trilogy PLM and/or its family of companies. This position will report to a single customer site in the city of Lost Hills.

  • Analyzing health and safety data
  • Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations
  • Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
  • Interview employers and employees to obtain information about work environments and workplace incidents.
  • Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.
  • Enforcing Safety Programs and Company Safety policies
  • Ability to present Safety-related information to groups of individuals in various environmental settings and speak clearly and concisely to convey the correct message.
  • Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees’ exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards.
  • Report or review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing.
  • Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities
  • Teaching supervisors, managers, and other leaders in the company about health and safety standards
  • Ability to train and motivate employees on safety practices.
  • Use internal mobile/electronic systems to conduct various safety audits to ensure employees follow safety policies and protocols
  • Experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Recent experience developing, implementing, and auditing comprehensive safety programs.
  • Ability to update our IIPP program and updates on an annual basis
  • Update Compliance Folders Permits and licenses
  • Update Osha 300A 3001A Logs and tracking
  • Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, able to communicate fluently in both languages.
  • Valid CA driver’s license with the ability to drive and operate a company vehicle when needed.
  • 2-3+ Years of experience in Safety


  • CPR & First Aid trained with current certification
  • Safety Experience in General Industry
  • MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Train the Trainer: Industrial Vehicles (forklift)
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Train the Trainer: CPR & First Aid
  • Occupational Safety and Risk Management Certification

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to sit for short and long periods traveling from site to site
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
